I decided to search my local CL for “Spyder”, this is the most interesting car to show up (in my opinion), a 1982 Fiat Spyder.
NPOCP? Follow up question, what’s the neatest result for “spyder” on your CL?

Searching Spyder:
https://easternshore.craigslist.org/cto/6132767141.html
01 MR2, 5-speed, 80k, $6200. Eastern Shore isn’t local though. Local, it would be another MR2 with double the miles for $5500.
Searching Spider, it’s this:

‘74 124, 74k, $6k

My local CL only has one “Spyder” at the moment, unless you count the jeep with aftermarket spyder bumpers.

TIL: Everyone in Kansas City with an Eclipse, MR-2, or Can-Am spells it “spyder”, while the Alfa and Fiat owners have rallied together under the banner of “spider”.

I didn’t even know these were a thing:
1995 Mitsubishi 3000gt sl spyder hardtop convertible - $8,900
CP though.

wow I didn’t know either! For the right price it could be a pretty sweet ride!
From Wikipedia:
Mitsubishi had produced a number of limited edition 3000GT VR4 convertibles. The rare special edition was known as the Spyder VR4. Only 877 were imported to America. When the Spyder was released, it never reached the European and Japanese market. The United States had their own version of the VR4. These cars were modified to be convertibles in the United States by ASC Corporation. The U.S and the Mitsubishi factories worked with another company to convert the 3000GTs into a hard-top convertible. The Spyder was one of very few hard-tops to release in the United States.
